Open Sundays in December

The merchants of Downtown Ukiah pride themselves on being small business owners. It takes a lot of hard work, time, and dedication to run your own business. Being open on Sundays is a pinnacle part of our Downtown area; giving consumers the opportunity to have a relaxed shopping experience over the weekend.

This December, the above merchants have committed to being open on Sundays for your shopping and dining pleasure. We can guarantee that you can get a special something for everyone on your list for the holidays. Whether it be clothes, shoes, jewelry, gift cards to your favorite eatery, or Downtown Dollars, make Downtown Ukiah your one stop shop for your holiday needs.

Thank you to our merchants Liv, Black Oak Coffee, Jax, Habitat, Mode Boutique, Stan’s Maple Cafe, Bona Marketplace, Shoefly & Sox, Boutique 120, Grace Hudson Museum, Brevado, Dragon’s Lair, Sword & Board, Mendocino Bounty, Little Brown Bear, Patrona, Bead Fever, Mendocino Barkery, Ukiah Brewing Company, McNab’s Mens Wear, and Mendocino Book Company.

Starting November 28th there will be elves hiding in different downtown businesses. Help us find out who is spending the month in which location before Christmas (game ends December 24th)! So how do you play you ask? Don’t worry it’s not a tough task! Come downtown and start searching around, there are 13 elves that need to be found.

Each participating business will have cards listing their fellow merchants whom are hosting an elf.
Once you have completed the list of names (elves will have name tags) matching the location, leave the card at the Visit Ukiah desk in the Ukiah Valley Conference Center, 200 S. School Street for a small treat and be entered to win gift cards to places downtown or a gift basket ! Have fun! hashtag a photo #elvesdowntown for another chance to win.

Pints in the Plaza 2017 Success

Even with the temperature soaring to 112 degrees, Pints in the Plaza 2017 was a success.

Ukiah native McKenna Faith was fabulous as she stopped on her tour to perform for the crowd and even took a turn in the dunk tank. Palma Properties arranged the dunk tank with proceeds benefitting NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness).
Lawn games and shaved ice were a good complement to all the great brew during the heat wave.

Ukiah Main Street would like to thank everyone who joined.
The funds we raise go right back into downtown and spreads through our community. Park Falls Dental and Slam Dunk Pizza helped make this event possible.
We would also like to thank our volunteers, Eagle Distributing, Lost Coast Brewery, Mad River Brewing Co., Mendocino Brewing Co., and Ukiah Brewing Co.
